Culinary Primer: Chocolate Bavarian

Some people love doing it for boredom
who, if he chooses a profession
Bocca di Rosa neither the one nor the other
she was loving it
[ Bocca di Rosa - F. De Andrè]

happy discrete happened that our ABC has received its first stage and also considering that the gelatin was afraid many and is not acceptable too many, here we go with enthusiasm and go straight to the point B .

But first, in thank all those who cooked the aspic for us and with us (and waiting for the aspic Brii reaches the right consistency), we point that the summary the first stage can be found in the blog created specifically to hold all the stages of our primer or here.

The letter
B is a challenge for your Trattoria of confidence, in fact, as a child once said on television " never had cavities in my life " we Tractors , until yesterday, we could say " ever tasted in my life Bavarian ... and therefore never prepared!
This has also led to a simple reasoning about decisions you take in life (nothing philosophical, quiet). As the film teaches us just lose a meters perché la nostra vita cambi [ cit.

We are talking about the book in volumes 's kitchen Lisa Biondi . We decided that firstly we are talking about a sacred monster but also and above all, because we found out that Lisa Biondi is not never been ! You understand well that the news has shocked , at least as a child is shocked to discover that Santa Claus does not exist! But then ... who wrote all those recipes? A team chefs, we are told. Mah .. you never stop to learn , it is true!

And while that Tractors have already chosen the second Bavarian (salt this time!) To try, you who are still there front of the monitor? Come on, all in kitchen to prepare the Bavarian !

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 sheets of gelatin 4 egg yolks
  • 100 gr.
  • sugar 1 / 4 l.
  • milk 1 vanilla pod
  • 250 gr. liquid cream
  • 50 gr. dark chocolate
Preparation:
Soak the gelatin in warm water, then remove from water and squeeze.
In a bowl mounted on foam egg yolks with sugar and add the heated milk with the vanilla pod. Pour this mixture into the saucepan with the gelatin and put in a water bath to cook, stirring constantly until the cream will thicken without boiling. Remove from heat and wash vanilla bean.
Cool the cream, stirring occasionally to prevent the formation of the cuticle to the surface. Whip the cream to the cream and stir gently, then add the chocolate that you have previously dissolved in a water bath.
Pour into a fluted pudding mold, wet with water. Keep in refrigerator for 4-5 hours, then remove it before serving, dip the mold quickly and put on a plate on the hot plate.

Note: the hardest part for us was the last. But thanks to Doris Sign.ra and an apple, we managed :-)

B like ...
there ... Beautiful!
